NCP has important deparments, so vote for it: Ajit Pawar

Seeking votes ahead of civic election in the tribal-dominated Jawhar in the district, senior NCP leader and former deputy chief minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar on Thursday said his party held important portfolios in the stabe ministry, and if the people wanted development, they should vote for NCP.

Elections to local body are scheduled for November 4.

Pawar said that Jawhar can be turned into tourist hotspot.

As to the demand of bifurcation of Thane district, he said the district would get priority whenever the issue of carving out new districts is taken up.
