Breaking his silence for the first time after the entire parking lot incident broke out, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui put out his statement regarding the same on Friday.

An FIR was lodged at the Versova police station against Siddiqui on January 16 by a 24-year-old student who claimed that the actor pushed her during an argument, thereby outraged her modesty.

Siddiqui, in a statement released on Friday, stated, "This entire incident was pre-planned against me. They tried to provoke me and my family and tried to video record our conversation. Police is investigating the matter further on both the FIR'S and I want the truth to come out. I enjoy my profession as an actor and want to focus only on that aspect. I have and always wanted to stay away from any kind of negativity and thus wanted to clarify my side before the media."

According to the police, the victim is a resident of Zohra Aghadi Nagar (J&K) cooperative housing society at Yari Road in Versova and Siddiqui stays in the same housing society with his family. A row broke out when the victim started clicking photographs of Siddiqui's private bouncers arguing with a member over parking of motorcycle. Siddiqui came to the spot and started arguing with her. He then allegedly pushed her and told her not to take any photographs.

"The police will do a proper investigation in the matter, and the truth will be out soon. The aim and objective of the complainant is apparent from her own conduct and I need not say more. The very fact that the complainant, as a third party, was interfering in a self created society matter and provoking my client says it all," said Siddiqui's advocate, Rizwan Siddiquee.

The police had registered a complaint under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code against Siddiqui for assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty.
