Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday said he would soon go for a Cabinet expansion, and that Narayan Rane would be given due respect as he was an NDA partner

Speaking to the media at his residence Varsha Bungalow during a Diwali get-together, Fadnavis said that Rane was keen on a specific department, considering his seniority and experience. He said that this would be kept in mind while giving Rane a role in the Cabinet.

Rane, who was former chief minister, left Congress and has floated his own political party Maharashtra Swabhiman Paksha.
