"All communities have a party except for Muslims  who do not have one. Come together so that we too have a party," said Akbaruddin Owaisi, leader of All India Majlis -E- Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) at a public meeting in Saki Naka on Thursday. Like his earlier meetings,  he continued to give speech on subjects that Muslim community is sensitive towards with little or no plans spelt out on what his partymen or party planned to do with wards from where they get elected.

It was his first public meeting on Thursday before he moved to give another one at Cheetah Camp which too has sizable number of Muslim community votes that his party looks to wrests from those whom community has been traditionally voting.

"Has Arif Naseem Khan ever done anything for you. He was textile minister. Did he do anything for people in Malegoan? Congress and NCP gave 70 NOCs for WAKF properties so that they are done away," said Owaisi to the gathered crowd. He further went on to tell people what his community has got due to his sheer presence in Hyderabad.

"They have more minority funds, Muslim students in Telangana have equal status to that of SC, ST students from my government. I managed to get an Islamic Center on government's money and fees of students even outside Hyderabad is paid by government. I even managed to get WAKF land back worth crores," he said, this time not mentioning how he has the knack to get things done from governments and which is why his he should be chosen over rest.

Owaisi went on to criticise Shiv Sena, BJP and prime minister Narendra Modi. "He made a show of ensuring his Mother to go stand in booth for his benefit. Had I been there, i would have gone. He should have gone there like Shravan Kumar took his parents on his shoulders," said Owaisi.

A large criticism was for Naseen Khan whose constituency has some of his candidates looking to win elections. When Khan's followers protested at the site, Owaisi said, "I have taken three bullets and 70 knife wounds. I am not scared. I have come to.make tigers out of people here so who will eat up Arif Naseem Khan." Owaisi was shot by men of local henchmen with whom he was said to be locked in a property dispute.

Owaisi also credited his coming to city with split in Sena BJP alliance. "Ever since I have come, they have been fighting. May they continue to fight. They loot and then they sit together," said Owaisi.
