For the past four years, the Mumbai University has been organising this event. But this year's event is bigger and better than the previous years. The HRD minister Prakash Javadekar joined the event and also attended the yoga sessions. "More than 300 students under NSS (National Service Scheme) got trained by Kaivalyadhama Yoga Health Centre," said Ashok Pujari, District coordinator of Ratnam College.

Students showed enthusiasm and were very attentive and well behaved during all the yoga sessions. "We used to celebrate this event for one day, but this year, we decided to conduct five days Yoga training programme for students of 124 colleges. Now, we are going to continue this training till September 5, under which 20,000 yoga interns will be trained," said, Subodh Tiwari, 46, CEO of Kaivalyadhama, Mumbai.

More than 190 countries are celebrating World Yoga Day. "We need to understand one thing.. yoga is India's gift to the world. It has a cure to all heath problems. It keeps us attentive, both mentally and physically. Wherever I go, I see yoga has become very vibrant because across age-groups, people can practise yoga to keep themselves healthy," said, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar. "I like doing yoga. It gives peace to my mind and body. But due to less space in the venue, I couldn't enjoy the event," said, Tasken Govani, 19, a second year student of College RJ College.
