Mumbai: Train derails between CST and Masjid station on Harbour line, no injuries

Thousands of commuters were left inconvenienced after a local train coming from Bandra derailed while entering platform number 2 at CST station on Monday evening. The incident which happened around 6:50 pm thankfully didn't see any passenger injured though the derailment caused its share of panic and commotion among the peak hour crowd at the spreawling terminus.

Speaking to dna, Narendra Patil, chief spokespman of Central Railway said, "The line between CST and Wadala is closed while we are running trains between Wadala and beyond towards Navi Mumbai. The restoration is going on at full flow."

Officials said an inquiry would be instituted to find out the cause of the derailment.
