With regards to the rise in the detection of crime cases in the city, the RCF police station has set the bar high for Mumbai's 92 police stations. According to officials of the RCF police station, the detection rate for the year 2018 was as high as 93 per cent from 80 per cent in the year 2017.

According to the comparative statement of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) issued by the RCF police station, some of the crime cases including murder, rape, dacoity, attempt to murder, extortion, house break-in, kidnapping and molestation have seen nearly 100 per cent detection. The most significant and highest level of achievement was the maximum recovery of stolen materials.

Officers of the police station claim that listening to every complaint with sincerity, instilling more discipline within the police force and ensuring strong follow ups in each case is the primary reason behind the increase.

"Along with vigilance, we have also focused on diligence and quality of policing which have ultimately bore sweet fruits because of the combined efforts of the entire police team. No case is big or small by nature except it's intensity or seriousness. The entire police team including the Cyber cell, anti-narcotics cell, anti-terrorism cell and other special units have worked day and night and have taken all the complaints in a serious manner," senior police inspector of RCF police station, Shrikant Desai said.

"Senior police officers can lead the way and guide the other officers but the result is always obtained by combined effort or team work if said precisely. We aim to keep up the performance and always serve in this manner so that people get more align and comfortable while seeking police help in future," added Desai.
