Mumbai police reaches out to TVF CEO, asks him to keep his side

The MIDC police will record the statements of the employees of the company to collect the evidence against Arunabh Kumar.

The Mumbai police have reached out to the legal team of The Viral Fever to co-operate them during investigations of the alleged molestation case against the Chief Executive Officer- Arunabh Kumar. The police will register the statements of the employees named by the complainant in the First Information Report.

A Mumbai based Director/Writer approached the MIDC police to file a formal complaint against Kumar. A post alleging TVF CEO had went viral which led to over 50 women alleging sexual harassment by Kumar. The complainant had posted on her Facebook timeline about the sexual harassment which went viral. Sources revealed that the girl has named few colleagues who witnessed the sexual harassment.

"We have asked the accused to co-operate during the investigations and the employees of the firm will be questioned and their statements will be recorded to collect the evidence", said a senior officer privy to investigations.

Shailesh Pasalwad, Senior Inspector, MIDC police station said, "We are investigating the case and will issue summons to the accused if he fails to co-operate during investigations and the statements of the employees will be taken."

"We are expecting that more victims will come forward to give the statement against the accused", said Pasalwad.

Rizwan Siddiqui, a Mumbai based advocate had asked the MIDC police to file a third party FIR on the TVF CEO said, "We will contact the victim so that we can help her to fight the legal battle and we are willing to give her the support support to get justice."
