Police probe has also revealed that last locations of Jigar Sanghavi, Kripesh Sanghavi and Abhijeet Mankar, owners of 1 Above were near the fire spot at the time of the incident.

On Tuesday, Mumbai Police arrested one more accused Vishal Kariya from whom Abhijeet Mankar's, one of the absconding owner of 1 Above's Audi car was confiscated. Vishal Kariya is a known face in bollywood, cricket and political circles. He has been booked under section 216 of the Indian Penal Code for harbouring offender who has escaped from custody or whose apprehension has been ordered.

"The Fire brigade probe report had stated that flying embers of the charcoal used for the hookah caused fire at Mojo's Bistro. We are questioning some people who supplied hookah materials at both the places.," said a police officer, who is privy to the investigation.

The police have also recorded statements of at least three witnesses, who claimed that they had they were dining in 1 Above and managed to escape while their wives got killed in the fire.

The officer explained, "1 Above authorities had done partition on the rooftop and door in the partition area too was locked by 1 Above authorities. As the fire broke on the terrace of Mojo's Bistro, it started to move towards 1 Above premises. While Mojo's Bristo staffers managed to get their guests evacuated 1 above couldn't follow suit. "

"As per our probe there is no way guests at Mojo's Bristo could have entered in 1 Above, as claimed by the latter, due to the partition.," said the officer.
