With Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) board examination around the corner, students have begun receiving their hall tickets. However, several schools have pointed out that these hall tickets are replete with errors, with details like students' names and subjects being wrongly mentioned. Jogeshwari's HMW High School's name, meanwhile, has gone as MHW High School on the SSC students' hall tickets.

"We asked schools to make the correction in their students' hall tickets and send a copy of this to the Mumbai Divisional Board Office. We received the complaints and they are being rectified immediately now," Sharad Khandagale, secretary of the Mumbai Divisional Board said.

"This is the first time that students received their hall tickets online. But for a few errors like names of students and subjects going wrong, nothing major has been noticed thus far," said one of the convenors, a principal of a school from the western suburb.

Another principal of a city school also agreed that this could be down to teething troubles, since it's the first time students got online hall tickets. "It's up to the schools whether they give out coloured or black and white hall tickets. But students' pictures are coming out clear. The important thing is that the principal's signature and school's stamp be seen," the principal said.
