Mumbai: Fire breaks out at Goregaon's Hub Mall

A fire broke out at the Golden Chariot restaurant in The Hub Mall in Goregaon at around 1 pm on Wednesday. The fire was confined to the restaurant, which is located on the second floor of the mall.

Deputy Chief Fire Officer Parab said, "The control room received a call at 12:58 pm. Four fire brigades, four water tankers and breathing apparatus have been sent to the spot. Rescuing is going on. It is still not clear if the fire took place in the kitchen of the restaurant or in the dining area. The firemen are still dousing the fire."

Another officer said, "The entire mall has been vacated. At the moment it looks like the fire took place because of a short circuit. We are yet to confirm."
