With an aim to choose good leaders and help them to set an agenda preferred by the citizens, the association of city's Dabbawala helped the Indian - Political Action Committee (I-PAC) to get the response for their National Agenda Forum (NAF) survey. The survey focuses on the response regarding citizens' agenda for the leader in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

As per the online survey, within two days, the dabbawalas from the city helped them to get around 22,000 responses on what agenda the leader should have for next upcoming parliamentary election and also who do the citizens think is the perfect leader for their agenda.

Speaking about the response the survey received from Mumbai, a media associate from the I-PAC team, said, "Most of the agenda citizens choose from Mumbai were related to women empowerment where they spoke about a number of rape cases, employment issues, farmer's issues. They also highlighted that more concentration must be given for health and hygiene, community utility. The target group who voted were in their mid-30s to mid-40s-year-old citizens."

Also, among the leader's option for the next election, the most votes from the survey from Mumbai were given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress president Rahul Gandhi, and Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

NAF is an initiative by I-PAC to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi's 18-point Constructive Program which aims to provide the citizens with a platform to reimagine and co-create Gandhiji's constructive program, in order to formulate an actionable agenda for our future.

Ulhas Muke, president of Dabbawala association, said, "We believe in Gandhi's principal because of which we came forward to help them encourage more people to fill up the survey. We spoke to some people about the survey and few got to know through the pamphlets distributed. We believe that we should elect candidates who will resolve citizens issues."

The dabbawalas spread the word for the survey at various places in Churchgate, Andheri, Dara, Bandra, and Parel.
