Online fame could prove costly for a bunch of daredevils. The police is trying to nab the young man, possibly of foreign origin, who is seen performing dangerous stunts on the rooftops of high-rises in a video gone viral online.

The exact date of the dare-devilry is not known, but the buildings seem to be located in Prabhadevi.

The matter was reported to the police after the video went viral on social media.

The police have reason to believe that the stunt was performed with the intention of garnering fame online. A few young men, perhaps teenagers, are seen congregated on the terrace of a Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) building near a railway line. Others can be seen stationed on adjoining rooftops to shoot the stunt.

"The video was captured from different angles, and people have also shot it from the ground, hinting that this was pre-planned," says a police officer. "A man is seen leaping off the parapet of one terrace, and performing a somersault before landing on the terrace of an adjoining building."

Deputy Commissioner of Police, operations, Manjunath Shinge says an enquiry has been initiated, and people in the neighbourhood, including security personnel, are being interrogated.
