After the launch of measles-rubella (MR) vaccination in schools across the state, Mumbai's civic body has now started approaching the small communities across the city to reach out to as many children as possible.

"Next phase of the vaccination campaign has been started by reaching out to the communities through various methods. Besides reaching out to the children with the help of schools, we will be reaching out communities by house campaigning for street children," said one of the officials from the health department.

In the next phase, children living in slums and on the streets will be vaccinated.
