According to the civic officials, the Gomes family had constructed a temporary shed by raising the foundation on the ground floor, which was disturbing the route of the gulli on Chapel Road.

A delegation of Brihanmumbai Municipal Engineers’ Union met the civic chief on Thursday. “The state government and civic administration should make law non-bailable for attacks on civic engineer,” said Yashwant Dhuri, additional general secretary.
