Around 900 examination centres will host the SSC board examination and for HSC there would be more then 500 centres, according to board officials.

S.Y. Chandekar, Secretary, Mumbai Divisional Board, said, “The figure of candidates registered for this year's SSC and HSC both have increased approximately by 15,000 each. Hence, where the students have been provided more than the capacity of the centre, there the board has helped centres in making accommodation for students. So there shouldn’t be a problem. Since the candidates have increased this year the number of examination centres have also been increased in the city schools and junior colleges.

The board is still receiving the applications of differently-abled students for concessions during board examination, due to which the figures of those students were not released by the Mumbai divisional board.
