Money speaks in jail, says undertrial gangster

A fugitive gangster who was arrested in number of cases, told dna how one can get everything from a servant to a good meal if you are willing to bribe jail authorities. All you need to do to have a good life in jail is 'take care' of the prison officers, he said. He also said that the poorer prisoners lived in terrible conditions as they could not afford the bribes.

"We have to manage each and every prison officer in order to have a proper life inside the prison. You just manage the officers and you get all luxuries from a servant to a mobile phone. We can get proper food inside the prison."
The gangster further claimed that the people who cannot afford to offer money to the officers are treated pathetically. "They are placed in the cells of the strong prisoners and are forced to work under them," he said.

When asked about the food provided in prison, the gangster claimed that it was of the poorest quality and often looked like leftovers. He also claimed that the jail authorities threaten undertrials to ensure that they don't reveal anything to inspection officers when they come for surprise checks.
