MHT-CET results today

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2016 (MHT-CET) result will be declared on Wednesday. The results can be checked on the websitewww.mhtcet2016.co.in. The timings of the result are not yet announced. There were as many as 4,09,276 students who had registered out of which 3,97,768 candidates appeared for MHCET 2016 that was conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell on May 5, 2016. the examination was conducted in 1054 centres in 34 districts.

Over 46,500 candidates have qualified for Medical and Dental courses, says the press release from the government. In the Marathwada region, 55,034 candidates appeared for the examination (medical and dental courses); 21.61 per cent of which have qualified. Meanwhile, 58,370 appeared for the CET in Vidarbha region and 12,203 of these students are now eligible for admissions. A total number of 1,62,223 students appeared for the examination in the rest of Maharashtra and out of these a meagre number of 22,700 students have managed to qualify for admissions. Drought-hit Marathawada has the highest pass percentage in the state followed by Vidarbha.
