Merchant Navy man found dead in friend's house

A 27-year-old youth employed with Merchant Navy was found dead in a flat near Dattar Colony in Bhandup (East) on Monday. The deceased had come to Mumbai to collect results of an examination which had appeared a few days back. According to the Kanjurmarg police, the deceased has been identified as Mukul Kumar Singh, 27, a native of Jharkhand. Singh had come to Mumbai on March 26. “When he came to know that the results were to be declared on April 8, he came to his friend Vinay Gavde's place in Bhadup,” said an officer from Kanjurmarg police station. Singh was having breakfast with Gavde when he suddenly collapsed. Gavde rushed Singh to the nearest hospital where he was declared dead before admisssion.”
