Margao police bust online sex racket, 2 held

Margao police arrested two persons involved in running an online sex racket across the country. Two girls were rescued. Police have taken custody of Santosh Kar from Orissa and Deependra Bhandari from Delhi. Their car has also been seized. The rescued girls are from Delhi and Kolkata.

"We received information that these persons are likely to supply girls to a prospective customer. We also had information about the vehicle in which they were travelling. We laid a trap and managed to intercepte them," said police inspector of Margao CL Patil.

At present, the accused said that they were functioning from the Calangute beach area. Police are probing further to get more information about their operations.
