Man who stabbed pregnant lover held

Anil Rajbhar, who stabbed his pregnant girlfriend at Bhisol jungle, was arrested on Thursday. A local court remanded him in police custody till January 9 .

The victim has been admited to Sion hospital. The police said after being stabbed, the girl pushed Rajbhar and ran towards the road.

“We have caught the accused. We will seize the bike on which he took the girl to the forest and also the knife with which he stabbed her,” said Ashok Kumbhar, in-charge officer.

“We have been tracing his mobile number. Finally, we got to know about his whereabouts on Thursday morning. We immediately reached the spot and nabbed him,” he added.
