The state government has stated in the upper house that regional ATS cells will be formed to check terror-related activities and keep a tab on indoctrination. The government will also come out with a helpline number wherein people can call and report suspicious activities.

Minister of state for home Ranjit Patil gave into the demand while the calling attention motion was raised on the issue of ISIS and Indian youths joining it. Neelam Gorhe, member of the upper house, raised four questions. They were about the 18 people who went with four Kalyan youths who were still missing and their whereabouts, role of ATS on the issue, any link between these youths and the person arrested in Bengaluru and the Ram Pradhan committee report.

Questions were also raised by Sena leaders on tenancy given to terror accused, unknown people coming and living in the city. Jayendra Kawade, another member, wanted to know if educated youths joined these groups due to monetary or any other reasons.

"ATS cell keeps a tab on indoctrination and the squad keeps a tab on activities. We will form a helpline wherein complaints about the issue can be given. Youths are getting attracted because they are being poisoned by indoctrination," said Patil. In the house, he did not give a reply on the issue of the 18 people who are still missing.
