Maharashtra Board to launch helplines for easing examination stress

It is only normal that students become distressed during the state board Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. In order to ease the students' mental agony, the board has announced a list of numbers they can call on, for undergoing counselling during the upcoming exams.

It is only normal that students become distressed during the state board Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. In order to ease the students' mental agony, the board has announced a list of numbers they can call on, for undergoing counselling during the upcoming exams.

While the HSC written examinations will take place between February 21 and March 26, the SSC exams are slotted for March 3 till March 26 this year. Counsellors will be available on the given numbers during the exams, from 8 am till 8 pm.

The board has requested that only students feeling low and distressed should call the counselors, as they will not be answering any exam-related queries like location of exam centres, seating arrangements, or the kind of questions that will be asked in a particular subject's exam.
