Music Works, a True School of Music (TSM) initiative is having a seminar-cum-gig for free at Blue Frog, Lower Parel tomorrow from 11am to 6pm.

The seminar has been going on since Tuesday, 25th June and includes performances and one-on-one interactions with a few of this generation's best DJs, sound engineers, composers and singers.

The first day included sessions with DJs like DJ Uri and Reji and MTV India presenter Nikhil Chinapa who not only shared their life experiences but also gave an exposure to what the students will be learning at True School by very spontaneously and patiently answering the audience's queries.

This was followed by a performance by band Soulmate and session by artist and singer, Monica Dogra.

The second day started with a music production session held by music director, Ramon Ibrahim who along with music composers, Clinton Cerejo, Sameeruddin, and Rupert Fernandes created a sound track with the audience's participation in a short span of just 15 minutes, much to everyone's delight.

Apart from this, there was a Q&A round with artists like singer Kailash Kher who also shared his life experience and journey in the music industry.

The last day will showcase sound engineering performances by Jovian Sones and frequency modulation lessons by Vasuda Sharma and Vishiwesh Krishnamoorthy.

This will be followed by performances by Dhruv Ghanekar, Gino Banks and Sheldon D'Silva who will be performing one song in multiple genres with all their expertise.

The True School of Music is a music school based in Lower Parel with faculty from the Manhattan School of Music (NYC). It is set to open in September.
