On Wednesday, protests continued across various parts of Mumbai after Prakash Ambedkar and the Left Front called for a bandh. While Mumbaikars defied the order for a bandh as schools and colleges remained open, the peace didn’t last for long as protesters brought as several rail and road routes were blocked by protestors by noon.

On Wednesday, protests continued across various parts of Mumbai after Prakash Ambedkar and the Left Front called for a bandh. While Mumbaikars defied the order for a bandh as schools and colleges remained open, the peace didn’t last for long as protesters brought as several rail and road routes were blocked by protestors by noon.
The Disaster Management Unit said that all parts of Mumbai were affected by Rasta Roko, that none of the areas have smooth road traffic and all local train lines – Central, Harbour and Western – were affected. BEST buses are also not running.

There is no disruption on WR section in Mumbai.Suburban & Long Distance services are running on all lines. Efforts being made to provide local trains at regular interval/every 10 mins during evening peak hours. Administration & Security Forces on alert & monitoring the situation

BEST buses have been recalled after 15 buses were attacked reported India Today.
Mumbai Metro
Services between Ghatkopar and airport temporarily affected , running normal between Airport Road and Versova, said the metro operator. The operator added: "Wadala-Chembur Monorail services are shut since November 9, 2017 post fire incident inside empty Monorail coach. Please don't believe in rumours of protestors stopping Monorail services."
