Indrani Malkani, founder secretary of the Little Gibbs Road ALM, talks about issue in the area that needs urgent attention
Updated : Jun 27, 2014, 06:30 AM IST
An issue that needs immediate attention is the poorly lit roads on Little Gibbs Road 1, 2 and 3. These are dimly lit and hence after dark, it is unsafe to walk on these roads. In the darker corners, men drink and untoward incidents take place. I had sent letters to the BMC ward office requesting them to install better lights at this stretch. Officials from BMC who surveyed the area also felt the need to fix lights here. However the situation remains the same. It has been long and we are still waiting for the authority to change it.
