Juhu woman file case against close friend

A 30-year-old woman recently filed a case with the Juhu police against a man who allegedly forced her into a physical relationship with him and also filmed an obscene video. The alleged accused is presently at large.

The Juhu police registered a case against Nitin Gupta, who, the woman claimed, used to be a close friend of hers. "As per the complainant, from October 2011 till 2013, Gupta formed a continual physical relationship with her on the pretext of marriage," said an officer from Juhu police station.

The officer added that Gupta later went back on his word and threatened the complainant with a video clip that he had filmed earlier. After this, the woman filed a complaint against Gupta with the Juhu police.
Gupta has been booked with several counts under the Indian Penal Code and IT Act for rape, unnatural offences, causing hurt, cheating, criminal intimidation and violation of privacy.

The officer also added, "Gupta is presently at large and we are investigating the case further."
