BJP has demanded 114 seats for the ensuing BMC elections and after two rounds of talks between BJP and Shiv Sena on possible alliance, both the parties have decided to finish the talks by January 21.

BJP city unit president Ashish Shelar, ministers Prakash Mehta and Vinod Tawde were part of the BJP delegation while Rajya Sabha MP Anil Desai, MLC Anil Parab and veteran Ravindra Mirlekar represented Shiv Sena.

Both Desai and Shelar told mediapersons after the meeting that talks were positive and both the parties would exchange a list of seats during next meeting for talks, which would have seats favourable for them.

After exchanging the list, seat-wise discussions will be held and a final call will be taken by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray.
