I did my best for the city: Ahmad Javed

Mumbai police commissioner Ahmad Javed, who demits his office on Saturday and retires from the force, stated that someday he will pen down his memories as a policeman.

Talking about his tenure as the top cop, Javed said: "I am glad that I could do my best for the city, when I took over as the commissioner. It was the period of festivals across the country and we did a fantastic job of maintaining law and order in the city. We carried out good bandobast during the time of Bakri Eid, Ganeshotsav, the Mount Mary festival and Republic Day."
