To ensure that ambulance is given way during peak traffic hours, students of KPB Hinduja College decided to hit the streets to create this awareness. Students of Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) will organise a rally on Wednesday, which will include six ambulances with 100 volunteers, appealing to people, to save life of a person.
Many a times, an ambulance is stuck in traffic and is unable to move. This could cost a person's life.
The rally will begin at 12pm from Gateway of India to Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus.
Rahul Patil, a BMS student, said, "This is a small initiative on our behalf. This step can help save so many lives."
Divya Bhagat, a SYBMS student, said, "One of our friend, lost his mother because she couldn't reach the hospital on time. This is when we decided to take up this cause and spread the awareness amongst people."
