How to avoid bottlenecks this Ramzan

Bracing for the massive crowds that will throng the city's roads well into the night, the Mumbai traffic police have made extensive traffic arrangements for the month of Ramzan. Read through these traffic tips to avoid getting stuck in bottlenecks this month:

Routes to escape traffic
All north-bound traffic along Kalbadevi road will be diverted at the E M Road -- Minara Masjid junction left turn. Vehicles will move from the Mohamed Ali road -- Mandavi junction towards the Bhendi Bazaar junction between 7 pm and 10 pm for a month.
BEST bus route nos. 125 and 130 will be changed. The buses will now take the Bhendi Bazar junction via Mohamed Ali Road and Mahatma Phule market route between 6.30 pm and 5 am for a month.

No parking near masjids, dargahs
There will be no parking at a distance of 50 metres on both sides of the entrance gates of these masjids and dargahs:

Bhendi Bazaar police jurisdiction: Madarsa Jamatul Kuran masjid, Charmill junction masjid, Noor masjid, Garib Nawaz masjid (Konkani masjid), Asif Shah Darga masjid, Bora masjid, Chatri Sarang masjid and all masjids in Dongri.

JJ Marg police jurisdiction: Umer Farooq masjid, Mogal masjid, Noori masjid, Nabab masjid, Attari masjid, Handiwala masjid, Rassul masjid

Pydhonie jurisdiction: Chunabhatti masjid, Murga Mohalla masjid, Patharwali masjid, Ghogari Mohalla masjid, Minara masjid, Khatri masjid, Zakeriya masjid, Nizam Hafizz masjid, Shafi masjid, Konkani masjid
