Monday, 21 April 2014 - 3:08am IST | Place: Nashik | Agency: dna

Nashik Lok Sabha constituency has become a hot seat so much so that senior leaders of NCP-Congress led by Sharad Pawar himself is camping in the city since the last three days, ensuring that the alliance candidate Chaggan Bhujbal makes it through.

The Shiv Sena-BJP too has responded similarly with Uddhav Thackeray addressing a rally capturing attention of the people. The party has nominated Sena's Hemant Godse.

Seeing the aggressive campaigning by these two parties. The MNS too has pulled up its socks, party chief Raj Thackeray addressed Nashikites for the second time this month campaigning for his candidate Dr Pradeep Pawar. The CPM too has left no stone unturned and roped in its senior leaders like Sitaram Yechury for its candidate Tanaji Sukhdeo Jaibhave.

With only three days left for the city to go on polls the intensity is heating up, with rallies, padayatra, 3-D speech telecast, public meetings, community and professional group meetings, one-to-one contacts and use of social media, etc. May the best man win!
