Mumbai airport authorities on Saturday informed the Bombay High Court that they would be providing certain facilities for taxis driven by women.

Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) and Stri Shakti Kendra, which operates a woman-driven taxi service, have agreed there would be an integrated pre-paid counter at the airport for all types of taxis.

Earlier, there was a separate counter for women-driven cabs, they told the bench headed by Justice VM Kanade. The integrated pre-paid counter will also take bookings for woman-driven taxis at the Domestic Terminal 1A, the court was told.
