The incident took place at Pimpleswar road, Manpada, Dombivali on June 24 at around 3.30pm.
Three friends who were on their way from Manpada to Dombivali west when all of sudden they saw a four wheeler. The victim got down from their car and asked the driver about their identification to which other accused friends got down from the car and attacked three victim with a chopper in which one got injured. The injured was identified as Brijesh Mourya who is admitted in Civil Hospital at Dombivali.
The incident took place at Pimpleswar road, Manpada, Dombivali on June 24 at around 3.30pm.
A case has been registered with the Manpada police station under section 307 (attempt to murder), 427 (Mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) and Mumbai police Act.
According to the incident it was on June 24 when the victim Brijesh Mourya, Babu Vitkar, Sham Sharma and Sonu Mhatre were heading to Dombivali west in Sonu's four wheeler, they saw a four wheeler coming on their way, they than stopped the car and recollected that it is the same looking car which they saw a couple of days back which was used for chain snatching. In these four friends, only Brijesh got injured while other made quick escape from the spot.
However, the victim noted down the accused car's number and later took their friend to hospital and lodged a complaint with the Manpada police station.
G S Randive, senior police inspector from Manpada police station says, "The car was similar as per the victims statement, when they went and tried to enquire things, they were attacked by a chopper. One is injured and he is under going treatment. We are going through the CCTV footage of the area to get details about the same. No one is arrested yet and all the three accused are unknown to the victims. Further probe is on"
