Flour mill owner murdered in Dahisar

According to police, the deceased was running the Shrikrishna flour mill in Dahisar since 1999 and was living alone. Yadav lived alone in the same room where he ran the flour mill.

A 50-year-old man flour mill owner from Dahisar was allegedly murdered on Saturday morning. Phulchandra Yadav (50), was hit on the head with a hammer. Dahisar police have detained Ramesh Madesiya, 20, a local who was last seen with the victim. Police found a hammer and bottle of alcohol nearby Yadav’s dead body.  

According to police, the deceased was running the Shrikrishna flour mill in Dahisar since 1999 and was living alone. Yadav lived alone in the same room where he ran the flour mill.
“We came to know that three to four friends, including the suspect, had come to Yadav’s place on Friday night. They are local residents and were frequent visitors to his place,” said Ansar Peerzade, senior police inspector of Dahisar police station.  

In his statement to police, agreed that he consumed alcohol with Yadav on Friday night but had returned to his own shop to sleep. An eyewitness however has said that he saw Madesiya outside the mill at around 1am. Police suspect a fight could have taken place between the victim and the suspect resulting in Yadav's death.

The incident came into light around 7.30 in the morning when locals spotted blood stains oozing out of the mill and informed the police. “We are questioning Madesiya but he has not confessed as of now,” said Peerzade.
