Fire in car showroom in Kharghar, two dead

Two people were killed and 12 cars were burnt after a fire broke out at a car showroom in Kharghar at around 5 am on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as security guards.

According to the fire department of Cidco, the exact reason of the fire is not known yet. However, they believe that short circuit may have caused the fire. Autovista, the car showroom is located at Aditya Planet in sector 10 in Kharghar.

Pravin Bodkhe, administrator of Kharghar fire department of Cidco said, “The fire that broke out at around 5 was doused by 7 am and even the cooling process has been completed.”

He added that two persons have been killed in the fire and they may be the security guards of the showroom.
