Fiery mystery

Adding to the strange cases of spontaneous vehicular combustion in Mumbai (remember the Audi R8 which burned down on the Sea Link?), we hear of another such incident near Nariman Point where a luxury car went up in flames. While the fire brigade managed to douse the fire, there is still no clear explanation why the engine would suddenly catch fire.

Luckily no one was inside the stationary Skoda car when this happened but it’s certainly caused a scare among residents of the high profile area. While there is still no official confirmation from the police, from what we’ve heard, the car apparently belonged to celebrity image consultant Chhaya Momaya. After this damaging episode, perhaps the company might require her services to calm the nerves of its many customers.
