Ex-boyfriend files complaint against Veena Malik

Pakistani actress Veena Malik’s ex-boyfriend has registered a complaint against her for allegedly abusing and threatening him over telephone on Saturday.  

The Aarey Colony police have registered a non cognisable offence against Malik. The offence has been registered under section 507 (criminal intimidation by anonymous communication) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).       

According to the police, complainant Prashant Singh was Malik’s boyfriend when she was in Mumbai for work and they were living together. Senior PI Uttam More said, “Three days ago, Malik got married to Asad Khan Khattak in Dubai and has settled in Saudi Arabia. However, she was upset about the fact that Singh leaked her marriage to the media.” 

“According to Singh, Malik called him on Saturday and hurled abuses at him. She also said she would send people to kill him,” added More.

It is alleged that both Singh and Malik were in a live-in relationship for two years and used to stay in Aarey Colony in Goregaon (East).
