People from all walks of life came together again for a yoga session at the Bandra Reclamation Promenade Friday morning. This is part of the ongoing initiative, which is held on the 21st of every month and organised by Yoga Platform and Ashish Shelar, to encourage the city's residents to come together for seaside yoga.

Organisers said the initiative has been gaining traction since it began in March.

"Yoga is a great way to connect with nature as it balances the body and mind. It is the type of exercise which helps in controlling an individual's diet, as well as improving breathing and physical postures. Yoga also reduces anxiety and stress," said Shelar.

Mishti Chakraborty, who featured in the recently released Begum Jaan, said, "The yoga session was great. It gave me peace of mind. It is an important initiative as it puts the spotlight on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I will attend the next session, and invite my friends too."
