As the new academic year begins, hundreds of parents are lining up outside coaching classes to enroll their children into the ‘best coaching institute’ of the city. 

Rising competition for admissions to coveted courses like medical and engineering is seen as one of the major factors for the proliferation of big, corporate-like coaching giants over the last few years. From promises of good infrastructure to quality teaching and getting students into ‘top ranks’, coaching institutes are leaving no stone unturned to woo parents and students.
