Dusshera shopping turns fatal for two

Like any other housewife Sumalata Shetty and Sujata Alva started their day with their daily chores. The two friends from Kanjurmarg cooked for the family, did their household chores, and decided to go to the Elphinstone flower market to buy some flowers for Dusshera.

However, the two were caught in the stampede before they could reach the market and died on the spot. Family and friends were in grief as the two women rarely ventured out this far.
