The fifth edition of dna Auto Expo kicked-off on a high note on Saturday with eager Navi Mumbaikars streaming in at the Karnala Sports Complex in Panvel in order to pick their dream car or bikes in case of the adventurous youth. The exhibition started at 10am and continued till 6pm.

While some were families looking for four and six-seaters, there were also young adults opting for something sleek looking and with best features.

Having a good mix of people gave the representatives of the brands a good opportunity to present a variety of cars and bikes.

A total of 12 popular brands participated in the exhibition, including Mini Cooper, Harley Davidson, BMW – cars and bikes, Nissan, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Mercedes, Honda, Tata, Hyundai, Renault and Maruti. Thus, people had a wide choice to make their dream purchase.

Vijay Pitroda, an Information Technology manager who came in to buy himself a family car said, "The expo is a good initiative and dna should do it quite often. One can hardly get so many brands under one roof to study the new models, features and benefits. "He added that since there were so many options, it was also difficult to zero in on a particular brand and was vacillating between getting a Honda City or Volkswagen or Maruti.

Pitroda who has a busy working schedule observed, "Whenever one sets out to buy a vehicle, he/she has to hop around different areas looking at different showrooms. However, the dna Auto Expo was quite beneficial as we could compare and choose at the same place." Those who missed it yesterday, can visit the expo today and after a good understanding of brands and models, can take home a shiny new vehicle.

Don't miss it!
