Cultural fiesta to herald X'mas at 'Chrismasti'

In a bid to spread the Christmas cheer, the third edition of Chrismasti will be held on Sunday from 3 pm to 10 pm at St Teresa's High School Grounds at Charni Road.

Organised by the Talented Teresians — the youth of Girgaum — and supported by the St Teresa's High School, the event will include participants from Colaba to Worli and is open to all age groups from school kids to collegians and other adults. The participants will include all neighbourhood parishes and all South Mumbai Deanery youth groups. A first of its kind, all Mumbai Inter Parish Dance (Jive) Competition and group carol singing for all schools will be part of the activities at the event.

Part of the proceeds from this event will be donated to NGOs supporting the cause of underprivileged children such as Haemophilia Society, Mumbai Chapter and Jeevan Dhara Kanya Ashram School, run by the Franciscan Sisters at Dahanu housing 450 orphan girls.
