The special sessions court on Friday has issued a non bailable warrant against the a top cop of Delhi who had arrested the 26/11 accused Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal, after the officer refused to appear in the court to depose as a witness.

The court also pulled up the registrar of the additional session's judge of the Patiala House court for failing to provide essential documents which are important and pertaining to the case. The court has thus directed the cop to be present on November 7 before the court and has also asked the registrar to send the documents on the same date.

"It seems that the witness (Manishi Chandra, the then Assistant Commissioner of Police) who is served with the summons has decided that the hearing of the matter should not go on. Both have attempted to interfere with the proceedings by not attending the same," maintained the court while issuing non bailable warrant against Chandra.
