Three people were arrested for playing loud music in the night and allegedly attacking police personnel on Thursday morning during a wedding function at Kopar Khairane's Sector 19 in Navi Mumbai. A few locals were also injured in the attack. However, none of them was grievously injured.

Satish Gaikwad, Senior Police Inspector of Kopar Khairane police station said that despite police warning, the group continued to play loud music after 10 pm. Soon after the assault, Kopar Khairane police reached the spot and took possession of the DJ's music system. "The wind shield of a police van and a decibel meter were also damaged in the attack," said Gaikwad.
