Coming down heavily on advertisement campaign of Mee Labhaarthi (I am the beneficiary) by Devendra Fadnavis led Government in the state, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday accused the CM and Chandrakant Patil of being the "only real beneficiaries" of this government.

He was addressing a farmers' rally at Karve in Vita of Sangli district. Thackeray had criticized Fadnavis Government on Saturday night during a rally at Miraj. He is on a Western Maharashtra tour.

Criticising the government for the advertisement campaign, Thackeray said, "This entire campaign is based on false claims. This campaign is for misguiding the people of the state and Fadnavis along with Chandrakant Patil are real beneficiaries because people have given them mandate.'

Minister of state for Water Resources Vijay Shivtare, MLC Anil Babar, Lok Sabha MP Gajanan Kirtikar, Zilla Parishad vice-president and Nitin Bangude-Patil were present on the dais.

Stating that he was not interested in becoming Chief Minister of the state, Thackeray said that but he would ensure that Shiv Sena chief minister comes to power in the state. He cautioned the Government that if farmers' issues are unresolved, he would take it to the streets.

Recounting BJP's slogan of 'Kuthe Neun Thevlaay Maharashtra Majha' during the assembly elections which was aimed at criticizing Congress and NCP in the state, Thackeray SAID, `We had supported BJP to bring Aache Din but when I am touring the state I have realized as to where have these people taken my Maharashtra now.'

Thackeray said nothing has changed in the past three years and the government is still completing water schemes that were started in 1995 when a Shiv Sena chief minister at the helm. Pointing out that despite Chief Minister's directions to reduce power rates, his orders are trashed by officers and if the government is ruining the farmers, farmers would not hesitate to pull down this government.

Taking a dig at NCP president Sharad Pawar for his criticism of Sena for being in Government and criticizing Government, Thackeray said, `BJP and Sena are two different political parties but Pawar had back-stabbed his own leader late Vasantdada Patil to topple his Government. Pawar who criticized Sonia Gandhi for her foreign origin later became her sycophant. Pawar should not teach Shiv Sena since Pawar is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Guru.'
