Chembur woman raped, 4 arrested

The Colaba police recently arrested four people for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 20-year-old Chembur-based woman after spiking her cold drink.

Two of the accused raped the girl in different hotels and also tried to force the woman into flesh trade by striking a deal with a Raipur-based businessman in a five-star hotel in south Mumbai.

The matter came to light after the victim took help of a cleaner at a Colaba hotel who subsequently informed the police about what the girl was going through.
