The mother of two children from Ulhasnagar who were paraded naked with their half head shaved for allegedly stealing a chakli from a shop now demands that the abusers of her children be tried in fast track court, and should be hanged to death. Meanwhile, the Hill Line police is relying on the video which was recorded by the three accused while assaulting two Dalit brothers.

On Saturday, Irfan Pathan, 25, his brother Tavakal, 20 and their father Mehmood Pathan, 69, allegedly caught two children eight and nine years old respetively at Ulhasnagar Camp 3, for stealing chakli from their shop. This triggered their anger when they shaved off their half head and paraded them naked with a chappal garland. They also video recorded the entire incident in which they are seen slapping and punching two kids. Kids later revealed the entire incident to their mother and filed a complaint at Hill Line police station.

"My children never stole any food item from the shop instead they were asking the shopkeeper to give them the eatable and had money on them to buy it. The shopkeeper misunderstood it and without thinking for twice assaulted both of them despite they were crying for help", said the mother.

"They stripped them naked, assaulted and later posed with them in the video by putting chappal garland on their neck. They were humiliated but shockingly no one came to their rescue despite seeing them being thrashed brutally. Their hair was shaved off. They could have waited for me to come and resolve the issue", said the mother.

"Now I want the abusers to be tried in Fast Track Court and should be hanged to death", she said.

Meanwhile, the Hill Line police produced three accused in Ulhasnagar on Tuesday court and they have been remanded into police custody upto May 26. "We are relying on the video as the major evidence in the case. The video has been shot by one of the accused and we will surely get the conviction in the case," said Mohan Waghmare, Senior Inspector, Hill Line police station.

The Hill Line Police have arrested the trio under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code ,Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act and Prevention of Atrocities Act.
