Central Railway's Women's Day gift to commuters

On International Women's Day, there is a chance for over 10 lakh women commuters, who use the Central Railway (CR) to give suggestions on improving train services. There will be a helpdesk set up at CSMT station specially for women commuters for the same.

This helpdesk will be kept near 'Star Chamber' where tickets are sold by the CR. "The women commuters can give suggestions or complaints about any changes that they want in the system," said SK Jain, Divisional Railway Manager (Mumbai), Central Railway.

Also, Matunga Road station will also become an all women station from March 8. Around 25 women staff will be operating the station which will include station manager, station masters, ticket-checking staffs, announcers and personnel from Railway Protection Force (RPF).
