The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013 kick-started without any major glitches on Wednesday with 4,066 students appearing for the examination across 75 centres in 40 cities.
The test will be conducted till November 11, 2013. The CAT 2013 is convened by IIM-Indore and the US-based, Prometric Testing Private Limited. Around 2 lakh aspirants, of which Maharashtra has the highest number of registrations, will appear for the examination over the next 20 days.
According to Prometric, both the sessions concluded without any glitches.
“We are pleased to share that the first day of CAT 2013 testing has ended smoothly. We will continue to focus on providing candidates with the best possible testing experience,” said Soumitra Roy, MD, Prometric India.
Students who appeared for the exam on day one, said it was similar to the earlier years in terms of pattern and level of difficulty.
